INGREDIENTS

  • 1+1/4 cup Moon Dal

  • 1/2 Cup Sugar

  • 1/2 Cup Ram Ghee

  • 1/2 Cup Dry Fruits (Mixture of Cashew, Walnut,Almonds, Pistachio and Raisins)

PREPARATION


Step 1


Soak washed moon dal in slightly warm water for 30 mins. Take moon dal in a heavy bottom pan and dry roast them on low flame untill the color is changed slightly darker.


Step 2


Remove the rosted lentil immediately from pan and allow to cool down completely.Once done make fine poweder of the roasted lentil in mixer grinder and powder the sugar in the same jar.Take a large bowl and sift both lentil flour and sugar through sieve, twice if possible. Discard the lumps and large grainss, if there is any.


Step 3


In a small pan melt Ram Ghee and pour the Ram Ghee in flour, sugar mixture little by little and mix quickly with spatula.Once mixture has soaked all Ram Ghee and coming together nicely knead it with your palms and make round ballls out of it.

Step 4


Place 1/2 tsp of dru fruit mixture in the middle and seal the edge neatly.Roll the ball between your palms to form smooth even ladoo. Do the same with rest of mixture dough. Keep the dough covered when working on one ladoo. This way mixture will remain soft & warm. Serve at room temperature.Enjoy!
